How did I become so fascinated with data after studying industrial design?
Step 1. After completing my studies in Industrial Design, I started creating temporary spaces, specializing in visuals for live shows, immersive experiences, and video mapping. It was during this time that I discovered how technology could transform spaces and perceptions, immersing people in entirely new realities.
Step 2. I didn’t stop at creating experiences for observation only. I became intrigued by enabling people to interact with these experiences, whether through body movements or voice. This curiosity led me to dive deeper into interactive development. As an Interactive Developer and Creative Technologist, I began designing interactive installations using sensors, computer vision, and coding, where human behavior became the input data to generate real-time, engaging experiences.
Step 3. My interest in data grew, and I realized I could take my knowledge of data much further by learning how to manage large volumes of data and incorporate machine learning. This led me to study Data Science and Data Analytics, aiming to transform raw data into actionable insights. What fascinates me most about this field is telling meaningful stories through data and using its power to connect ideas and drive impact.

I also created Pol Dajer, a space to give myself the freedom to experiment. It’s a platform where I blend data, art, and artificial intelligence. Through this space, I seek to discover new ways to connect humans, nature, and technology, using data as a foundation to craft unique experiences that merge coding, AI, and striking visuals.
