In 2019, MUTEK Ar Festival began its activities in Buenos Aires city (NANO MUTEK) to carry on its mission of encouraging the dissemination and development of digital creativity in sound, music and AV art, through the Amplify platform in collaboration with British Council and Somerset House Studios.
The festival, that connects an active network of artists and curators from the immersive storytelling and digital arts sectors in Mexico, Argentina, Canada, Venezuela and the UK, concluded with a nocturnal showcase of contemporary electronic experimentation.
During this night, particularly devoted to immersive and dynamic sets by emerging talent, I presented an Audio visual live set together with Naiborg’s live machine and synth set; a project by Naila Borensztein (musician, composer and producer).
